Eczema, Hives & Allergic Skin Condition Treatment

Stop relying on temporary creams that only mask the problem. We treat the underlying immune triggers of eczema, chronic hives, and severe rashes so you can finally feel comfortable in your own skin again.

What is Immunological Skin Care?

Many chronic skin issues aren't just "skin deep" - they are driven by an overactive immune system. We diagnose and treat a range of skin-related immune conditions including eczema (atopic dermatitis), chronic hives (urticaria), and contact dermatitis. Instead of just treating the surface, we use specialized diagnostics like patch testing to find the exact trigger. For patients with moderate to severe eczema or chronic hives who haven’t found relief with standard treatments, we also offer advanced biologic therapies to heal your skin from the inside out.

What patients can expect:

A dramatic reduction in severe itching, leading to full, uninterrupted nights of sleep.

Why see an Allergist/Immunologist for a skin problem?

Because conditions like eczema and chronic hives are actually immune system issues. Our Board-Certified specialists look beyond the surface. We have specialized expertise in investigative diagnostics, like comprehensive patch testing, and we are highly trained in prescribing the latest biologic therapies that target the specific immune pathways causing your inflammation.

What to expect at your visit

Step 1

The Investigation

We review your medical history, examine your skin, and discuss all the products you are currently using at home.

Step 2

The Diagnostics

Depending on your symptoms, we may apply a Patch Test to your back to check for chemical allergies, or perform specialized blood/skin tests to rule out environmental triggers.

Step 3

The Targeted Treatment

You’ll leave with a clear, step-by-step skin care regimen. If your condition is severe and hasn't responded to standard care, we will evaluate you for advanced biologic therapies to finally bring your skin lasting peace.

Not sure what you need?

That's exactly what we're here for. You don't need to have it all figured out before you see us. Book a general consultation, tell us your symptoms, and our specialists will guide you to the right tests and treatments.

Answering your questions

Everything you need to know about our bespoke, patient-centered approach to your health.

How do I schedule an appointment?

To provide you with the best possible care, we use a direct intake process. Please fill out our New Patient Booking Form linked on this site, and our front desk will email or call you directly to secure your appointment time.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans, and you'll always be treated as a person, not just a number. Plans we accept include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Blue Care Network, Priority Health, HAP, Aetna, Cigna, Humana Medicare Advantage, Molina, McLaren, Original Medicare and Michigan Medicaid. We don't accept UnitedHealthcare or Silver Saver plans.

See our full list of accepted insurance plans, or call (248) 546-9100 to confirm your coverage.

How long will my first visit take?

You should expect to spend about an hour and a half to two hours at your initial visit. Unlike other clinics where you might only see a doctor for 15 minutes, we take the time to go over every potential allergic disorder and conduct all necessary testing.

What makes your approach different from other allergists?

We offer an "academic experience" similar to what you would find at major university hospitals like Northwestern or Harvard, right here in the Detroit suburbs. We follow evidence-based medicine while keeping the patient at the absolute center of the experience.

What specialized procedures do you perform?

In addition to standard allergy care, we offer advanced procedures that many local allergists do not perform. These include supervised drug and food challenges (administering a medicine or food in-clinic to verify an allergy) and desensitization protocols (slowly building up your tolerance to a specific medication).
