Immunodeficiency Testing & Treatment for Frequent Infections

Tired of catching every bug that goes around or battling illnesses that just won't clear up? We investigate the root cause of your weakened immune system and build a specialized treatment plan to restore your body's natural defenses.

What is Immunodeficiency Care?

Immunodeficiency occurs when your immune system is missing key components or isn't functioning correctly, leaving you vulnerable to frequent, severe, or unusually persistent infections. We assess and manage these complex disorders. Instead of just prescribing yet another round of antibiotics for your latest infection, we dig deeper. We use advanced blood testing to identify the underlying immunologic condition and develop a long-term, proactive medical strategy to support and strengthen your immune health.

What patients can expect:

A drastic reduction in the frequency of severe respiratory, sinus, and ear infections.

Far fewer trips to the hospital, urgent care, or emergency room.

The ability to confidently return to work, school, and social events without the constant fear of catching a severe illness.

An Immune Evaluation can help if you are thinking:

  • "I get bronchitis or sinus infections multiple times a year, every year."

  • 🌿

  • "I catch every single cold my kids bring home, and it takes me weeks to recover."

  • 🏡

  • "Standard antibiotics don't seem to work for me; I always need multiple rounds."

  • 🌿

  • "My doctors say my white blood cell or antibody counts look 'abnormal'."

  • 🏡

  • "I’ve had unusual, rare, or incredibly stubborn infections that healthy people don't usually get."

  • 🌿

  • "I’m exhausted from always being the 'sick person' in my family."

Your Medical Detectives

Identifying an immune deficiency requires an expert eye. General practitioners are excellent at treating an acute infection, but Board-Certified Immunologists specialize in looking at the entire pattern. We act as medical detectives, analyzing your complete health history and utilizing highly specialized cellular testing to find out exactly where your immune system is dropping the ball, and exactly how to support it.

What to expect at your visit

Step 1

The Deep Dive

We start by listening. We will meticulously review your entire history of infections, illnesses, family medical history, and past bloodwork to look for hidden patterns.

Step 2

The Assessment

We perform specialized, in-depth blood tests to measure the specific levels and function of your white blood cells, immunoglobulins (antibodies), and other critical immune defenders.

Step 3

The Defense Plan

Once we find the missing link, we build your shield. This may include lifestyle adjustments, customized vaccination schedules, or starting Immunoglobulin Replacement Therapy to give your body the antibodies it can't make itself.

Not sure what you need?

That's exactly what we're here for. You don't need to have it all figured out before you see us. Book a general consultation, tell us your symptoms, and our specialists will guide you to the right tests and treatments.

Answering your questions

Everything you need to know about our bespoke, patient-centered approach to your health.

How do I schedule an appointment?

To provide you with the best possible care, we use a direct intake process. Please fill out our New Patient Booking Form linked on this site, and our front desk will email or call you directly to secure your appointment time.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans, and you'll always be treated as a person, not just a number. Plans we accept include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Blue Care Network, Priority Health, HAP, Aetna, Cigna, Humana Medicare Advantage, Molina, McLaren, Original Medicare and Michigan Medicaid. We don't accept UnitedHealthcare or Silver Saver plans.

See our full list of accepted insurance plans, or call (248) 546-9100 to confirm your coverage.

How long will my first visit take?

You should expect to spend about an hour and a half to two hours at your initial visit. Unlike other clinics where you might only see a doctor for 15 minutes, we take the time to go over every potential allergic disorder and conduct all necessary testing.

What makes your approach different from other allergists?

We offer an "academic experience" similar to what you would find at major university hospitals like Northwestern or Harvard, right here in the Detroit suburbs. We follow evidence-based medicine while keeping the patient at the absolute center of the experience.

What specialized procedures do you perform?

In addition to standard allergy care, we offer advanced procedures that many local allergists do not perform. These include supervised drug and food challenges (administering a medicine or food in-clinic to verify an allergy) and desensitization protocols (slowly building up your tolerance to a specific medication).
