Asthma Treatment & Management for Adults and Children

Stop letting asthma control your life. We'll assess your lung health, identify your triggers, and build a personalized asthma action plan.

What is Comprehensive Asthma management?

Asthma management goes beyond just handing you a rescue inhaler when you can't breathe. It's a proactive, ongoing medical partnership. We use advanced pulmonary testing to understand exactly how your lungs are functioning, identify your asthma triggers, and create a tailored medical approach to prevent attacks before they even happen.

What patients can expect:

What to expect at your visit

Step 1

The Evaluation

We'll discuss your medical history, symptoms, and lifestyle, followed by a simple, non-invasive breathing test right in the office.

Step 2

The Diagnosis & Triggers

We determine the severity of your asthma and, if necessary, run allergy tests to see if environmental factors (like pet dander or pollen) are causing your flare-ups.

Step 3

The Action Plan

You'll leave with a customized Asthma Action Plan. A clear, written guide detailing your daily controller medications, how to handle worsening symptoms, and exactly what to do in an emergency.

Not sure what you need?

That's exactly what we're here for. You don't need to have it all figured out before you see us. Book a general consultation, tell us your symptoms, and our specialists will guide you to the right tests and treatments.

Answering your questions

Everything you need to know about our bespoke, patient-centered approach to your health.

How do I schedule an appointment?

To provide you with the best possible care, we use a direct intake process. Please fill out our New Patient Booking Form linked on this site, and our front desk will email or call you directly to secure your appointment time.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans, and you'll always be treated as a person, not just a number. Plans we accept include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Blue Care Network, Priority Health, HAP, Aetna, Cigna, Humana Medicare Advantage, Molina, McLaren, Original Medicare and Michigan Medicaid. We don't accept UnitedHealthcare or Silver Saver plans.

See our full list of accepted insurance plans, or call (248) 546-9100 to confirm your coverage.

How long will my first visit take?

You should expect to spend about an hour and a half to two hours at your initial visit. Unlike other clinics where you might only see a doctor for 15 minutes, we take the time to go over every potential allergic disorder and conduct all necessary testing.

What makes your approach different from other allergists?

We offer an "academic experience" similar to what you would find at major university hospitals like Northwestern or Harvard, right here in the Detroit suburbs. We follow evidence-based medicine while keeping the patient at the absolute center of the experience.

What specialized procedures do you perform?

In addition to standard allergy care, we offer advanced procedures that many local allergists do not perform. These include supervised drug and food challenges (administering a medicine or food in-clinic to verify an allergy) and desensitization protocols (slowly building up your tolerance to a specific medication).
